Narissa Chen presents the IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers

Narissa Chen, was invited by the French Chamber of Commerce to conduct a presentation about International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 15 framework held on 18th May 2017.

The presentation was an insight on how an IFRS reporter recognizes revenue and how to request individuals to provide a more detailed  financial statements for important disclosures, using the principles based on the five-step model to be applied to all contracts with customers.

This new standard will take effect beginning on or after 1 January 2018. It will apply to most companies reporting under IFRS and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Denis Usher, Managing Partner, Head of US Desk, and Adrien Lanceau, Audit Manager, also represented Mazars at the event. Other attendees include directors, lawyers, auditors, consultants, CEOs, CFO, controllers and finance personnel.
