Mazars in Singapore welcomes new Audit partner for financial services sector

Mazars, the international audit, tax and advisory firm, has appointed a new Audit partner in Singapore to lead the audit and assurance services for the financial services sector.

Mark brings 11 years of audit and assurance experience to the team, including 27 months of experience working in Melbourne, Australia. He has also worked with start-ups, fintech and payment companies, and was recently involved in the digital banking license attestation process of one of the successful applicants of the new digital banks in Singapore.

As a Chartered Accountant in both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Singapore (ISCA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Mark is coming onboard as an Audit partner specializing in the financial services sector, especially on banking audits.

Mark has extensive experience working on the financial audits and internal control audits of banks, commodities trading houses, securities houses, investment management companies and unit trusts. He has vast knowledge and experience in banking and capital markets, including an understanding over the relevant Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and notices.

Reflecting on his appointment, Mark says: “I am excited to start a new chapter of my career with the Mazars audit team.
