6,680 employees from a total of 188 companies across Singapore participated in the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia survey. This survey was also done in 7 other markets across Asia in mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.
Dato' William Ng, group publisher and editor-in-chief of HR Asia mentioned that "disruptive innovation is not only changing markets and industries, it is redefining the workplace. The skillsets required are rapidly changing, while workplaces are being transformed to accommodate telecommunicating and flexi-working, among others. Companies need to adapt and do so quickly in view of these changes brought about by technology and global inter-connectivity."
Narissa Chen, Mazars Partner, received the award on behalf of Mazars and gave a thank you speech, where she said, "Although accounting isn't exactly the sexiest industry, it remains a challenge to recruit and retain talent. This award affirms our belief that innovation is a strategic HR imperative and as such, we will continue to improve ourselves to stay relevant and ahead of the game."
We are thrilled to receive this distinguished award from HR Asia. Of course, we were only able to achieve this because of the relentless hard work and efforts from all Mazarians. Great job to all of us!
