Michael Asplund Partner, Tax Lawyer

Michael is a Tax lawyer, Partner at the Tax-department at Mazars office in Stockholm. He is also a member of the Mazars management team in Sweden. Michael has previous experiences from the Swedish tax agency and law firms with experience of advanced tax related assignments from closely held companies, insurance companies, benevolent societies, trade organizations, limited companies and partnerships. Michael also has expertise in complex real estate tax issues. Michael advises entrepreneurial and family owned businesses on both international and domestic tax issues. He also has specific expertise in private clients.

He carries out investigations and provides consultation within several lines of business such as taxation of groups, real estate, shareholder planning, wealth management, domestic and cross-border restructurings, pre- and postsale structuring, intragroup transactions and complex issues regarding closely held companies. Michael has specific specialist expertise in tax and civil laws regarding foundations, trusts and associations.
