The Chartered Valuer and Appraiser programme is Asia’s first professional Business Valuation certification programme. It is supported by 13 institutions in the financial industry, including Mazars.

Mazars’ Lai Keng Wei, Audit Partner, and Pierre-Paul Jacquet, Financial Advisory Services Partner, represented the firm to show full support on this programme.

The CVA programme is targeted at individuals in the Business Valuation ecosystem, who are involved in areas of transactions, litigation & arbitration, and financial reporting. This includes business valuers, accountants, external auditors, corporate & investment bankers, fund managers & investment analysts, legal professionals, regulators and board members.

It will officially begin its inaugural 18-month training course conducted by Nanyang Technological University Business School in August, and will combine industry best practices and competency standards set by International Valuation Standards Council, the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore (IVAS) announced at the event.
