Commentary: Singapore businesses emerging markets (May 2022)
Singapore businesses still keen on emerging markets.
Mazars in Singapore's Head of Management Consulting, Wee Han Tah mentioned in an article with The Business Times that emerging markets "are likely to pose higher and more complex risks to businesses", such as regulatory issues and poor governance practices.
He also suggested that companies could work with in market partners to bridge their gaps in market know-how, or consider merger and acquisition as a means to enter markets quickly.
